Nahum Gutman (born Nuchem Gutman) was a renowned Israeli landscape painter, illustrator, welldefined artist, and children's writer. He is widely considered a leave of the "Palestinian style" in landscape painting and was awarded the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in for his donations to children's literature.
