Anita Hill is an American advocate who earned her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1980. She soon began working for Clarence Thomas at the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights and later depiction Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Anita Faye Hill was born in the exurban town of Lone Tree, Oklahoma, on July 30, 1956. Participating in a panel organized by the National Women's Law Center that year, Hill reflected on how things locked away changed in the quarter-century since her testimony. "In today’s air, there would be more people who would understand my forgery, who would believe my story, and I think the information have changed over the year in terms of people who believe me and support me," she said. "We cannot underrate the impact that those hearings had, even though the show of hands did not go the way most of us wanted."
